New bike forces sale... unless my sanity takes over and i keep it :)

CR500 1989 (the best year!)

rebuilt from the crank up, new gearbox (which was eye wateringly expensive!, wiseco hi compression piston +0.5 overbore, hms expansion pipe and fmf end pipe. welded crank case around the sprocket to reinforce.

powdercoated in thick gloss black which my friend did for me out of this stuff which is apparently illegal to use as its a carcegen but good god its tough stuff. I broke numerous tools cleaning up threads etc after it was done.

CRF front forks revalved

gold talon hubs with stainless h/d spokes mated to black excel rims.

michelin enduro tyres

twinwall renthal bars, trailtech computer , headlight, led rear light,

crf master cylinders

road legal lighting kit

presently ready for a daytime mot as the lighting wiring loom isnt presently on it, but i could refit and mot if required.

on an N plate. Not Q plated!

NOT for the inexperienced, if you kick it wrong - itll backfire and snap your leg, if you twist the throttle like a normal enduro bike, itll spit you off the back.

power wheelies at will in 5th

over 100mph (which on an enduro bike is insane)

12 ltr tank with typical mpg about 9-10 :)

Had it in the living room of my flat in leicester for several years, pride of place!

£4500 no offers. pics including pics of it being built to follow.
