Hi

I have been waxoiling my landy every 6 monthly since I have owned it, however I have just waxoiled it and found a small hole in the chassis at the back in the lowest point. I am guessing water has gathered in there and eaten away over time. What is the best thing to do with this as the rest of my vehicle is in prestine condition as is the rest of the chassis and this hole has put a right downer on the whole thing. Any advice?
Have been considering selling her also as I do not have the chance to use her to her full cabalities, this hole has almost convinced me! Heeeelp!

Cheers

what an absolute tragedy !!!
youve found a rust ole on a landrover surely that be unheard of !!!!!!!

only fing to do is leave it there to stop the water gathering again.......... or do as many others have done .......... weld a fooking gert plate over it ..............
or ..........
sell it quick before it spreads .............

How feckin annoying! ok well I'll try ger her sealed on inside! I had been doin the inside with the high pressure sprayer things and clear waxoil but obviously not doing it good enough! fooking thing! Anyone want to buy her? 110 hardtop £1000s spent mint condition except this little hole!

If its only a wee hole cut the rusty bit out and weld a patch flush leaving a gap for penetration then grind smoooth and waxoyl over the top you will never know its been welded
