HELP!!! I have a 2003 Petrol Freelander, Hill decent and Traction control warning lights are remaining on, can anyone point me in the right direction to rectify this problem???

hi boon..
so you have the 3 amigos lit......i had this fault on my 05 td4 ..3 weeks ago.. auto spark first change the switch under brake pedal... (cheapest part to change) the lights went out.... but a week later they came back on...auto spark plug his lap top in and told me the rear o/s abs had gone....had a new sensor fitted ....lights are out but how long who know?..
i think your best way around this fault is to get the faults codes read ....cost 35 quid to plug in ...i was unlucky that i had 2 faults i think...
BE CAREFUL DRIVING WHILE THE LIGHTS ARE ON AS THE ABS/TC WILL NOT WORK....hope this helps

Before you do that, have you done a search on this topic? You will see that a common cause is the switch on the gearknob. Really simple repair.

Cheers

Blippie

I have trouble with the wires coming loose on hill decent switch on the gear stick, worth checking.
