Highland Newbie

Hi all, just bought a V8 Disco ES, new to Land Rovers but always wanted one. It has the usual probs, steering box leaking, front caliper leaking, rear inner arches gone, and "some" welding required underneath.
All I need to now do is blow the dust off the mig welder and get stuck in. Turning the key and firing it up is all the motivation needed, what a growl!
Can't wait to destroy the contents of my already knackered wallet at the petrol/gas pumps.......!!! J.
