high level brake light

took my range rover to the guy at leyland lpg for conversion my fatherin law was following me and said the bulbs were not all working on the high level brake light , can the bulbs or leds be replaced or is it a new one or third hand one

Recently replaced mine for mot. Dead easy. Flip off the cover and you'll see 5 individual bulb holders; these twist out with a half turn anti clockwise. The bulbs just pull out/push in. Lucas bulbs ref LLB501 12v 5w.

He didn't say they threw up a fault, just that some of the bulbs were not working. There are 5 individual bulbs in the high level light strip.

Yea sorry I miss read! Thought he was asking if leds could be fitted
Me needs to lay off the whisky when ive got my phone in my hand

Re-read with clear head and yes theres 5 x 5w capless bulbs in there easy to get to too
But can be replaced with leds if you want

Test the bulbs first, I found in mine that the bulbs were okay and it was just a contact problem with when I shut the tail gate, sometimes I have all lights okay, other times a few just don't, I'm going to swap mine for leds
