Just got a 2005 BMW engined TD4 . Love it although I understand my wallet and ability with spanners may be called into question!!!. . Love driving it it encourages sedate driving as the engine is nice and smooth and lazy. i am on isle of Wight so no motorway driving although my better half is keen to take it visit her son at Plymouth uni ( which will do it good?) . Its a lovely truck loads of room for the dogs which have been perched on rear seat of an old Suzuki Alto for over a year!. So Landrover ownership here we go!. Only issue so far is , i didnt realise you had to blip remote twice to get doors other than drivers to open. My rear boot handle had a few cracks in it and I managed to pull rear boot handle off! as it was locked . New handle on route. I am going to change transmission box fluid, gear box fluid and axle fluids then just enjoy and see how ell I get on. Car has 138,00 miles on clock with service history up to 100,000. Had oil change at dealers with new filter. fuel pump leak done , couple of new parking sensors , new wiper blades and sticky central locking sorted. Also got six months warranty on it . They seem a bit of a marmite car love em or hate them. Hope fully Ill love mine

Welcome to the forum. It's a great club to be a part of.
I hope that's a made up name. You don't want to make yourself trackable on the internet. It can be a nasty place. Just a thought!
