Hi Landy Zone. I have watched your site several times, but never joined in-sorry!
I am a Landy owner living in northern France, near Cherbourg and I run a nice old Defender 90, but have owned LRs all my life, starting with a lovely old swb station wagon, ex MOD, in 1962. Took my series 2 to Australia and back via the old Hippy Trail in 1963.
A quick question now, can anyone advise? The capping between the cargo area and the hard top is very rusty, its not life threatening, but looks horrible. I always remember this as being galvanised,obviously not any more. Is this a difficult job to replace, and are the parts available?

fairly easy job if you have hinges on windscreen unbolt side panels from tub undo hinge adjuster and lift back up roof,side panels etc letting winscreen hinge forward ,as roof to winscreen joint shouldnt be disturbed if possible
