Cudmore Grove is the starting point. I imagine a pub will be the finishing point  . As for the bits in-between, well...

I have got a nice new pink map, fancy some gentle greenlanes? I'm easy (well, I am an Essex boy;) )

New avatar, Frosticles? Very nice

I know Pawprint can't get there until early evening, so a trip down the pub sounds like a sensible (?) idea. I still fancy a bit of a drive beforehand, though - maybe finishing on Mersea late afternoon. What do the rest of you think?

Hi all,

I couldn't get to Cudmore Grove until about 1.30, because our #$%^& washing machine packed up this morning and wouldn't spin or drain out .

I then got stuck in Colchester looking round the electrical shops and wasn't allowed to come home until I found the right one.

Then I had to pull out the old one and install the new one.

I drove round the car park and went past The Fox, but couldn't see anybody?

However I did see a green 110/108 tilt as I came across the Strood that I didn't recognise as bing a Mersea car??

That was probably me

It was a lovely day for it too! Seems the gods were against us, eh? I'm afraid the Landrovers were outnumbered by Jeeps at Cudmore on Sunday  . Not sure if I can make next weekend as it's my niece's birthday. There's a road-run from Heybridge to Maldon museum in early December, I'll be on that one though.
