Hi, just found this site and just had to join!
I have a Silver 98 Xedi Freelander had some major problems with her recently but thankfully they are nearly all sorted out now.
Hope to start greenlaning in her soon, well when I find somewhere to go that is???

Best wishes to you all.
Maria.:)

13th Nov hmmm might be able to that's a Sunday right??
Let me know the times and where you're meeting and I'll let you know.

Got lost in Colcheter once, so your directions had better be good. LOL Otherwise there will be a little silver FL with pawprints on it driving round and round going nowhere:D :D

Maria.

I got a map that has an arrow pointing to East Mersea. Not much help???? LOL.
You had better give me the actual address, as in the name of the pub, street it's in etc. I'll look it up on the pub finder website. And let you know if I can come.

Maria.

Hi Maria,

If you look at the map, the arrow is pointing at the Cudmore Grove park where we were going to meet. Basically, come onto Mersea, bear left at the end of the Strood (the bridge over the water) towards East Mersea, follow the road for about three miles and Cudmore Grove park is off to the right, about 1/3 mile past the Dog & Phesant pub.

That's what I like to hear: someone who finds their way by Pubs
Mine's an orange juice (as I'm driving).

Well mine will be as well. LOL aint planning to walk from Nazeing.:D :D
What time are you guys getting there?

Maria

Oh damn!!
It's not on the pub finder map. Doh!

Hmmmm me thinks I will get lost...............do you ever meet anywhere normal?? Like a real town rather than the edge of the country. LOL

Normal......!! I live on Mersea!! ;)

Honestly, it is really easy to find. There is one road out of Colchester to Mersea and when you get to the end of the Strood causeway, bear left towards East Mersea and you are there! :D :D

Me neither! I am going to our sailing club "laying up supper " the night before..... Ooooooo!! ;-))

Should I ask what one of them is??
My ex used to sail, I went to 2 of his clubs dinners, 1st was a nightmare coz they forgot I was a Veggie!! 2nd I got drunk:p so can't really remember much about it. LOL.

It's an opportunity to get p!$$ed and wear a bow tie!!

It marks the end of the sailing season and when the boats come out of the water.

I suppose it's a bit like Harvest Festival without any corn or tractors involved..... LOL!!

Arrh yes that rings bells, that must have been what the 2nd one was for that we went to.
It was at the Medway sailing club if I remember rightly. I went sailing with them a few times on the Medway, bashed my head on the sails as they swug over the boat several times. LOL and I was sober at the time!!
