hi to everone i am new

hi all, i am new to this site,i bought myself a landrover disco 200 tdi k reg only last night,right out the blue, my friend rang asking me if i want to buy a disco 200 tdi,he said give me £100 and its yours ,the only thing is it runs out of tax and mot tonight(30/11/07).
he said i sent it for an mot and it failed on a head light,both sills which i have now got and u can have it all for a £100, so of coarse i said well yes please,the only reason he is selling it is he only bought it 4 days ago for £500 and he has no where to park it up and having no tax he was trying to get it mot to tax it but ran out of time(unlucky him and my gain) so there u go i am now the proud owner of a disco lol.

well do u think i have got myself a bargain then ,needs a bit of welding, ie new sills but wot do u expect for that money lol .

Yep sounds like a bargain to me mate, but make sure you check the floor in the rear whilst yer got the welder out cos they rot to death there.

Give it a good check over before you throw money at it, plan for the future, the MOT is only a very basic check, and the minimum requirement for road use. Its barely worth the paper it's printed on.
