Hi, Newbie from Surrey

Hi All,

I bought a P38 Range Rover over the weekend. Was really excited until things started going wrong.

Bad oil leak, looks like its coming from the sump. Will be replacing gaskets on that.

Misfiring and stalling. Any help with whats wrong with that would be much appreciated. Been looking into thingslike ignition leads, spark plugs, coil pack and throttle cables. Inc air intake system.

Idle speed all over the place.

Went into London Yesterday and got the 'engine disabled' sign come up on the dash, stuck in london until AA finally got the thing working again.

Some idiot has put electric seats in but didnt instal the motors or buttons to operate, so if anyone wants to swap some Greey leather manual seats for my electric ones more than welcome.

The idiot has also messed up all the electrics by trying to install some cd / dvd players into the back, but obv didnt know what he / she was doing.

Apart from that, its a lovely motor, fairly cheap on the LPG and congestion charge exept.

Im not moody and never moan usually lol.

Haha, I did do alot of research and knew it was going to eat my money up but not this quick though. alot of the electrical issues that dont affect the driving of the car im not too worried about, but defo mechanical things i will be fixing (trying to fix) as soon as possible.

And as i live near hills, i will need something suitable to get to work in the winter, the BMW 5 series would not have got anywhere lol.
