Hi I have Discovery 2 new to me so far i have changed the fuel pump which wen well and it running like a dream now. The side steps have rusted so i plans to cut them off with a grinder and fit some tree sliders from http://www.rock-sliders.co.uk/discovery-2-rock-tree-sliders.html
I've watched a few you tube videos it looks fairly straight forward, has any body got any advice?
Is this a job that can be performed by a novice and there any thing i need to look out for?

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Very good upgrade and a pretty simple bolt-on fitting. Make sure when you take the plastic sill covers off that you check the sills for rust first and either fix it or treat it properly.

Have something or someone to hold one end up whilst you loosely bolt the other end first. Only tighten them when all bolts have been fitted! .. ;)

Thanks I'm planning to use a jack to hold it in place, I'll post some picks when the parts arrive.
