Hi Lift Jack

I bolted my jack to the front of the rear seatbox. It needs to go diagonally up to fit a swb, but I just put a bolt through one of the top holes in the ladder to keep it in place - also stops it moving about.

I put a carpeted fake seat front in place to hide it , which fits under the lip of the bench seat. I've done that to both sides - it turns the wasted space into a useful place to store tools without them all rattling and flying aboot in the back.

Moonie,
could you give us some photos? I have been looking to fit a hi-lift
on the back of the 'seat bulkhead' behind the seats on my lightweight.
The other option I have seen is to bolt it upright on the back bumper
but this is only on hardtops. I have also seen it horizontally on the front bumper.
I will be using an old rubber car floor mat that I will cut up to stop
it banging about.
I also plan to have a tommy bar attached in the same way but I am still
trying to get it all to fit. The tommy bar needs to go here as it wort fit in
tool box I have on the seat bulkhead between the back benches.

nice setup under the seat the moonie

Cheers, just using the wasted space. Otherwise I'd have the back full of tools and crap and no room to ever carry people or anything else.
