Hi, new member and I know the questions been asked a thousand times but mine has a slight twist. Trans fail safe mode only in warm weather? I brought the car in winter and the issue was not present… When the weather warmed up all summer I have been have trouble with TFSM problem….. how I have been getting around it is this. Turn ignition on (not start the car) TFSM appears….. select neutral….. turn ignition back off then on again and message has gone…. Now this may in worse cases have to be repeated if the transmission is having a real bad day but generally works….. Now the weather has cooled again the problem rarely happens…. Strange I know! A little history of the vehicle… 2002 petrol vogue L322 . it has covered 105000 miles and had a new gear box fitted at 65000 miles. Before I brought the vehicle it had had a recent new battery and gear box oil changed, which now makes me think the problem was present with the previous owner…. Also I should add that on those hot days that I was having trouble some time it would start fine but once I touched the selector stick (even ever so lightly) the TFSM message would show. Also some times on long journeys the gear selection changes from around 2500rpm as normal to having to reach 4500-5000 rpm before changing? I rectify this by stopping turning ignition off and restarting. The vehicle has a slight mind of its own at times to… whether this is related I don’t know but the central locking at times locks all doors apart from drivers door and the lock pin on top of the door card goes up and down several times. I is forever showing faults…. Low coolant, number plate light, side lights…etc when there is no actual fault and to top it off the air suspension has stop working to now ….. can any help? Are these problems related? Where should I start?

Many thinks in advance.
