replaced power steering high pressure pipe from pump, also replaced pipes at steering rack. When removing. High pressure pipe from rack, small silver disk dropped out with pipe. Have refitted disc but now I have no power steering. Have turned steering lock to lock to remove air bubbles out of system . Started up engine, main feed pipe from power steering pipe from pump is extremely hot. Is the disc I fitted the wrong way Round? Can anyone help please.
PS. I am a mechanic who has fitted dozens of pipes and pumps, bled systems but never had this problem before. HELP!
