Hi! I just joined Landy Zone. I am in Montreal, Canada. I just changed all the pipes on my ace system and the front actuator. The system worked well before except for a lot of noise that seemed to come from the high pressure pipe after the pump. The pump had been replace by the previous owner shortly before I took ownership. I thought that perhaps the attenuator in that section of pipe was not doing its job. I made an error due to misinterpreting a posted diagram of the hydraulic piping system. I inadvertently switched the location high pressure pipe from the pump to the valve block with the return pipe that leads back to the reservoir in the valve block. Needless to say the system did not work. I only drove it for maybe 5 kilometres and did some heavy figure 8's to bleed the system. And yes, I primed the pump by hand. I have since corrected the piping. but the amber light comes on after a minute or so of driving. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I DAMAGED THE PUMP?? It does not make any noise, in fact it the system is much quieter which I contribute to the new high pressure pipe (hose) with attenuator. There is circulation in the reservoir but nothing like what I see in the PAS reservoir. BTW there are no leaks.
I would appreciate any help particularly if anyone thinks that the pump was damaged due to my stupidity.
