New guy from Stoke-on-Trent saying hi with my p38 4.0 v8 manual. It’s my off road project let the fun commence.

Anything with a v8 gets my vote.:)
When you say “off road” project what are you planning? In your pic that looks like a good example and too good to mess with too much, but I know pics don’t tell the whole story.

It looks better in pic tbh but it is fairly clean. Only reason I got was the manual box and for £600 with a bit of mot it’s a no brainier really. Don’t want take it too far just simple stuff like lift kit, sliders, winch and bumper, guards for diff engine ect. Need to sort a few niggles out steering is scetchy at best lol doesn’t like driving in a straight line on B roads lol.

Steering,check the rubber uj thingy in the steering column shaft in engine bay. :) Ours went and it felt like always having to make corrections on the steering but only small ones left to right. If that makes sense.

The manuals were quite a rare commodity to have on the P38.. :D

Not sure i'd offroad it, but we all have differing opinions ;)

I'd off road it, V8 rumble down a dirty lane in all the luxury a P38 has to offer :)
