Anything with a v8 gets my vote.
When you say “off road” project what are you planning? In your pic that looks like a good example and too good to mess with too much, but I know pics don’t tell the whole story.

It looks better in pic tbh but it is fairly clean. Only reason I got was the manual box and for £600 with a bit of mot it’s a no brainier really. Don’t want take it too far just simple stuff like lift kit, sliders, winch and bumper, guards for diff engine ect. Need to sort a few niggles out steering is scetchy at best lol doesn’t like driving in a straight line on B roads lol.

Steering,check the rubber uj thingy in the steering column shaft in engine bay. Ours went and it felt like always having to make corrections on the steering but only small ones left to right. If that makes sense.

Not sure i'd offroad it, but we all have differing opinions
