New to this so please appologies if this is not the right place ,

I have bought a P38 4.6 HSE, with air (and yes it works lovely!!)
My query is I bought it with 188k on it but the condition is great , leather superb and everything works!
Since researching the mot on the dvla site I have come across a bit of an anomaly ie mot history below and the mileage recorded
May 2011. 188572
June 2010 87944
May 2009. 81729
May 2088. 71959

And so on , the previous buyer purchased the car in jan this year for using in the bad winter, ( I have e mailed him to see if he can shed any light ?)
But what do you think 100k in 12 months - half way to the moon!!

I think you should consider changing the air filter.

It has had new air filter and rear brakes done , needs new front pads though, so a job for next weekend ( a bit of moon dust apparently had blocked the filter haha)

New set of clocks fitted between MOTs at a guess...although the figure for 2088 shows remarkable faith in the construction of the vehicle.

Further update , written to previous owner but unfortunately no reply ! Does any of the ecu / management system record mileage ? Or is it just the speedo ? If not looks like I am stuck with 189k on the clock, any suggestions or thoughts guys would be grately appreciated
