First of all I apologise I posted a question about Epb before introducing myself my only excuse was panic mode.

My name is Mark I live in County Fermanagh.
I've always wanted a range rover but marriage and kids had to come first over my dreams anytime I saved a few quid the Misses found it or a emergency, another reason is I'm scared of the wifey but I grew a pair and told her I am and not can I and surprisingly she agreed, fuff wish i tried years earlier lol.

Problem having range rover is getting a good mechanic as I know a local land rover garage would Rob me.

Sorry epb (electronic parking brake) it's working but no way knowing if it's applied or not as no light on dash to confirm.

Thankyou for the welcome, one way to do it and just pray lol my only issue as I hardly ever use it is that my MOT is due next month and will it be a fail if there's no light on dashboard.

I appreciate your sentiments - I was 50 before I got my Tratter.

Not being electrickery minded, I've eschewed all the bells and whistles (where possible) on all of my cars.
So far I've devolved to a 300tdi Defender, hoping to get a Series or Lightweight someday

Oh boy i forgot the many years i would flog the defender's in my early life able it to backfire just at the right time rally around forests up mountains, batten down the hatches from incoming petrol and paint bombs, bricks and anything else to stop the mighty defender.

I did manage to get through a few and luckily just parked up and left them at the MT for others to fix at no expense to me.

Now I've moved and got this baby and treat it with kid clothes and better then I ever would the wife.

Does the light come on during the lamp check when first turning on the ignition? Just a guess it should.

No it does not even do that, nothing at all, the system works perfectly as I have tested it and hear it engage then hear the system deactivate.

because I'm listening for it with radio off that I have no other indication of it activated.

Today MOT notice has just dropped onto the floor I just not sure if they don't see any dash board errors that they will still fail it not seeing it come on when they do the brake test.
