Hi, I am a long time owner and driver of various Land Rovers and Range Rovers.
Currently own two Range Rovers both 1983 ,one auto one manual.

Used to dabble with the All wheel drive club many years ago when i had a series 2a,which i drove on the sea in Denmark, rejoined last year so i could take "Nicola" my Bedford RL on the army ground.

Belong to the R.E.M.E. TA as a reccy mech ,so have some fun with some of the bigger stuff.

Introduced my stepfather to Land Rovers years ago and he and my mother are big in Land Rover Dormobiles etc.

Was brought up on Land Rovers ,growing up in a village and was helping the shepherd driving the farms series 1 when i was seven, which incidentally i had my first vehicular mishap in, stamping on the throttle ,which i could just reach ,to see what would happen whilst he was in the back feeding the sheep as we ,supposedly, tickovered our way across the field.
The Land Rover leapt forward and I hoped he had not noticed but it became evident that the Land Rover was not rocking about with his movements from the back,so i peered over the back and not only was he missing but there was a sheep covered mound behind me,sheep turn into raving monsters when they are hungry and nothing will stand in their path.

Have had many mishaps and moments of madness since and look forward to many more, only just do not tell the missus.
