Hi from a Rover V8 fan

Thanks for letting me join the forum. I'm thinking of buying a Disco with a Rover V8 engine or else, after pressure from the wife, a Freelander 2. I have to drive an auto due to a back injury. I love the Rover V8 engine, having driven behind one fitted to a TVR for years, until the clutch defeated me in fact. I've written a book on the RV8 as fitted to TVRs and am looking to extend it to cover Land Rovers so fitted. I'm an F1 nerd, having run a number of F1 fanzines over the years but no one is perfect.
