Hi, I'm new to the site and still learning to navigate the system, so any errors then please excuse the novice/junior member.

I'm getting on in life abit but have just purchased my first "Landy" - see I'm already getting to know the lingo.

Have just purchased a fantastic "Gas-guzzling" V8i - but just love the sound of V8's.

Looking forward to beginning to share the experience of Land Rovers with you all.

Have found the info re. Heater problems very usefull --- now need to know how to get more mpg. Help or donations to my petrol fund would be appreciated. (Wife runs a Smart car (70 mpg to the gallon) so emagine the ear battering)

Hi and welcome. get an LPG kit fitted that'll bring the mpg down.

I guess the LPG kit will cost me more than the Landy (Yes/No) but I guess it's something I will have to consider next year. Living in the Brecon Beacons if the Disco gets me through the snow etc. over winter then I'll be happy.
