Hi, all. Have just aquired a Series 3 109 hardtop. Unfortunately she's about 120 miles away from me. Story is: I persuaded my father to get it about 16 years ago when I still lived at home and he needed something with 7+ seats. He hasn't used it for umpteen years and now I get to inherit it. The clutch has sprung a leak so have to sort that before I can get it out of the garage for an MOT but it has been garaged and has done about 200 miles since the last MOT so should be fairly easy to get back on the road. Once that's sorted I'm keen to take it out and get it muddy.
I'm sure I'll find lots I want to do to it so I may be a regular asking for advice.

Hi Chris and good luck with the new venture.

Those old Land Rovers are a tough as old boots, a mate of mine has a 1953 one and it is still going.:D

There seem to be more durable than then other end of the marque that may be regarded by some, as nothing more than a "Gin Palce" with leather seats?

kind regards
G
