I've been a Disco owner since 1995. I'm on my third one at the moment and have owned it for over 5 years. The first one I owned for 12 years and despite saying many times "I'll never have another Disco" when the time came to replace it I couldn't find anything I liked better. The second one was a fantastic car, another model one but hardly any problems at all.
I've joined the Forum for help with suspension problems I'm currently experience

Welcome aboard :)

So, which Disco are we talking about ? Piccies please - we like piccies :D

Edit:- went looking and saw your thread - a D3  too modern for me :D - I;ll have a proper read, and see if i can confuse the issue for you ;)

Thanks for the welcome, must admit my Disco 1's were much simpler even if I didn't realise it at the time. I'm confused enough at the moment lol.

D3's are a good bus, but, IMHO, you NEED diagnostics for them. Where we live, high up the pennines ( and therefore WET with a capital "F" ), the new fangled electronical wizardry will not live...:( - and believe me we tried - both with new FFRR's, and then ni$$an, and pugeot :)eek:) - all died, so we went back to basics with D1's - we both have them, and whilst they do rot :)rolleyes:), I can weld, so :p to tin worm :D

When I was running D1's I felt in control, it could be a chore but I felt that I could tackle most jobs. Like you say with the D3's there's so much that can go wrong that needs diagnostics.
