I’m a newbie here, I am hoping someone will be able to have some suggestions
I have a 56 plate td4 it’s a fantastic truck 230000 miles
A few Weeks ago the o ring went on the front of the hp fuel pump I replaced without removing the pump tricky but possible it ran fine for 1000 miles, then I was driving down an A road and it just stopped I got it going but the orange engine light came on every time I gave it any significant gas
I have replaced the injectors ( good used apparently) , the injector wiring loom , the fuel filter , the low pressure fuel pump, and the fuel pressure switch, it’s better and is perfect in neutral to Rev up to 4500, as soon as you drive it and put your foot down at all the light comes back on and misses and light coloured smoke from exhaust and no power
It’s been on diagnostic code is 1109 or something like that low fuel rail pressure
I’m stuck and frustrated, any ideas would be great as I’m out and really don’t want to throw the truck away
