Hi Everyone, Im new to the site as of today. I have a Freelander Sport which I will be using mainly to tow the Rally Car around the country. Which is where I need a little help. Ive been given a tow bar for her however Im missing the the two centre bolts that bolt up into the chassis into captive nuts and I cant find out where I can get them:doh:. Does anyone know a supplier or what size and length etc they are please?

I'd try a local engineering supplier first. Ask a local garage who supplies them with bolts etc.

Hope it's a small rally car - your towing limit (if a TD4) is 2 Tonnes including trailer

Now, the total Train Weight must not exceed 3.5 tonnes and a Freelander weighs around 1.5 tonnes

So beware of the additonal weight of tools and spare wheels etc.

Hi All - Yes I got my bolts sorted from our local Landy Garage - thanks for the size info Gents.

Yes, the Rally car is a 200+bhp 1600 Nova weighed in at only 800 kilos and the Freelander tows it great.
