Hi All

My name is Mark and I'm living up in Norfolk. Restored a series III when I was younger and regret selling it so much, we had a bit of a surprise when the wife had twins... apparently it wasn't the most suitable vehicle!

Currently have a td5 facelift disco 2 and a v8 disco 1. Hoping to find a defender that doesn't require a second mortgage.

Wouldn't mind a series again if I could find one at the right price. I'm also 6' 5" and it's easier to find a bit more legroom in a defender.

X1 buy a series landy and don't regard it as a family car. Get rid of the Disco's and buy a family car too. You will become a happy landy man.

The series was never the family car but circumstances forced it's sale. If I tried to take her td5 off her I'd be in trouble, she loves it - I get to fix it, not drive it. V8 is going at some point though.
