Ambulance 3.9 V8 to camper project

Hello everybody,

my name is Niels, 34 and living in the Netherlands.
This summer I purchased my first LR. I wasn't really looking for it, but when I saw it I had to buy it.
Its a Turkeys ambulance model build by Otokar, know as MLR29.
It has a 3.9 V8 in it, and hasn't found anything that tells me there was a different engine in it before. So maybe custom build by Otokar?

My plan is to transform it into a camper, with popup roof. And than make some longer trips with it

Hansom, though I still think it looks like a blood wagon maybe because it’s that creamy white you associate with old ambulances. I do like this Atom alloys nice work.

I understand they had a tendency to rot, even more than usual!! Keep an eye out!
Is the spare wheel legal? Different is ok but had to be rated to match what's on

The has been in turkey until 2years ago.
Inside an outside is almost without rust. I only changed the rear part of the floor. The rest will get a Dinitrol treatment.
