i have a 06 freelander td4 few problems hopefully i can find the answers here hehe just replaced the dual mass flywheel and clutch cost a fair amount 1200 but i had it done for 700 due to garage i brought from offered to pay 500 due to it going within 4hours of me having it but now i have grinding when i try to go to 1st gear as i approach roundabouts and now passenger window is grinding think cables gone anyhow enough with the niggly bits love the freelander defo the best buy i have had in a long time love taking it offroad my problem is looking for offraod tyres i got 17" dont think offroads come in that size mostly 16". il upload a picture of my 4x4 at later date as some little git stole my fog light cover

I have just bought some 16" wheels which I have fitted winter tyres to. If the weather continues like it is they will be going on very soon!

I understand that not all wheels will fit the '06 freelander like ours. They need to fit over the brake callipers on the fronts. Check they fit before you buy.

If you hunt around on eBay etc you should be able to pick some up at around £25 a wheel.

7J x16" would be the best size, but they are like hens teeth. Mine are genuine LR wheels 6j x16" ET46.

To fit the older LR 16' wheels on later freelander, you need to use a 5mm wheel spacer to get the clearance over the larger brake calipers
