Evening all, I've owned a few Classics in my time, and have finally had to succumb to a nice shiny 1999 DT P38, about 2 months ago! Last week, the suspension collapsed. Diagnosis... a new Compressor. All valves cleaned, a new Compressor later, and the EAS fault message reset, am on my comfortable way once more!
So, during the course of the week, about half a dozen times, she pumps herself up, in slow traffic, to maximum height. Sometimes she went back to normal, others, i had to stop and lower her myself.
Anyway, today, 45 miles from home, it collapsed again, with all lights on and no faster than 35mph warning on the dash.
That was a long and slow journey....so, tomorrow, hopefully, back to the garage to see what's what!
This and a key no 2 alignment issue still ongoing, means a slight baptism of fire into the world of P38's!
Plus the obligatory angry wife....!
Will post up the outcome when I know more.....Night, all....
