Hi all from an ex jap owner in Suffolk

Hi everyone. I'm Jim. Ive just sold my Ford maverick and GSXR to buy an 18 year old Defender. My workmates think I'm mad but I'm over the moon. I can play in mud and water, go over hills and sand all with this stupid grin i seem to get when leaving the tarmac far away. Can anyone explain why this happens to me and my mates when we jump in our landys

Life is complicated. Land rovers aren't. And when you throw mud and green lanes into the equation... you get a big ear-to-ear smile!
I get a huge thrill from pootling around in my series 1- it's not flash which is why it's so cool. Noone knows if i work on a farm, own an estate, i'm a Doctor or a forklift driver. All are possible - but also unimportant.
