Hi there
I'm originally from England but have lived in or near Barcelona for the last 31 years. Given the thousands of KMs of forest trails and tracks within just an hour of where I live, I think I'll be staying ...
I've only ever had one "Land Rover" and that was an Evoque, which I did take off road until I realised I'd leased the wrong car! I have a Pajero now but I've test driven a FL2 and I'm going to be buying one of those soon I hope. I want to do less radical off-roading as I feel I'm going to get myself in trouble soon!
THE LAND ROVER PARTY SPAIN 2020
I only found out yesterday that the event was going to be held. So, I went along, a tenner in and 40 minutes from home...
It looked sad with so few Landies compared to previous years, and I'm surprised they held it at all. A few Brits had made it down. I saw two FL2s that went out on the massive off road circuit, and I've done it in an Evoque keeping to the easier tracks.
The highlight was getting to test drive the new Discovery. We did the most difficult Black tracks including an almost verticle drop that the car took into its stride in Low and HDC. I've never considered them as they are too big and too expensive, but once in one it doesn't seem that big! Very impressed. Took a quick look at a website and saw 2010 MY Disco 4s 2.7D S models with between 60 - 80,000 miles for around 16-19,000 euros. Almost tempting ...
Look forward to talking Landys here!
All the best
Simon
