bought our first land rover last week. actually its our first truck/4wd/suv/v8. we usually go for a small 4 cyl but after the winter up here last year we both wanted something that could get us out of our driveway. i think the decision was made when i tried plowing through a foot of snow with our tiburon.

anyway its a 95 discovery. theres some rust here and there but other than that its in pretty good shape.

im hoping to try some offroading with it eventually. theres a place in pa ive been looking into:
Rausch Creek Off Road Park

theres closer spots but this one mostly cuz of the on-site camping, as we do love camping. i have to get the shifter for the diff to move first. thatll be the next thing i do but as of now im rewiring the speakers. got the fronts done. the rest will be during the week.

given a few checks and some suitable tyre the disco will perform well there.With a few tweaks could rule.

ahhh the old Disco takes me back.... watch out for blocked sun roof drains (couldnt really see if you had any fitted) as these will overflow into the roof space
