Hevac problem

Hi can anybody help? my farther in law has a 4.6 hse 98 plate, it keeps loosing power to his hevac unit when he takes a direct live to it it all comes back on, but this is not a ideal fix. Can any body tell us where the hevac unit is powered from or which relay runns it. This is a very frustrating problem because when he goes to look at it, it will just power back up on its own, can anybody give any suggestions.

If you are taking about the heater blower than it sounds like the resistor for the blower is gone. It is usually on the blower and is just a flat chip that plugs into it somewheres. If you not talking about heat...than I don't have a clue.

No its not the blower its the display in the centre.
