Very pleased about the lack of welding!! Well I've ordered all the bits, went for the flo flex bush set (as advised by Sible), time to wrap up warm and make a start.

Strangely enough, no clonking and it doesn't feel bad, think I had a new guy who was being a bit to efficient, he kept having to ask someone else how to use thier system. I don't know about this slowing down malarkey, if I go any slower I'd stop!!!

Diesel if you get stuck getting old bushes out shout. I personally wouldn't have gone polys but its a personal preference Do shout if you need owt I have (wide) arms and plenty of pahnard rods here kicking about. Soon I wll have full refurbished kits exchange to sell but that way down the line.

Thanks for the offer Jai, will bear it in mind, I've heard they can be a pain.

Handbreak, fog light (surprisingly full of mud) and steering damper all done, doing the track rod ends tomorrow and the bush kit is due to arrive on Monday..... and the Snow is due tomorrow!!!!

Because I likes rubber!!

I had a cheap set and within 3 months they were knackared every other vehicle I've been in fitted with either expensive or cheap ones give a harsh ride Offroad they restrict movement and put more strain on everything.

Metallastic bushes last me a year sometimes two before needing to be replaced

I understand that polys are great for re assembly but I hate them

I got a press now so I can fit them and my old man turned up some press tools well enough to re bush a motor so it really is a 5 minute job to press old ones out and new in.

Right got rid of a couple of Engines today Cheers Andy!

Anyone local got any Disco or Defender roof bars for sale???

Right before I put on E----bay or post up for sale to general people. Anyone of us locals interested in a 6mm defender winch bumper I have one I need rid of. Its been repaired by somone else before me (I havent ever used it) and I'd probably cut the ends off and make it a tubular one if I was to ever keep it. If its any use to anyone I'm open to offers.

Will add pics to website and send link to any interested parties.
Hi jai landrover. is it possible to come look at winch bumper next weekend sometime cheers

I have had one PM and he is waiting on a pic which I will send tomorrow. I'll post a pic online aswell and its open to offers but he has first refusal as he PM'd first Jai

I know this is a sad and really bad thing to say but I am finally considering selling the landy :( Not really using it up in Scotland like I used to and I need to be sensible right now with what I am spending money on.. I know it is likely to be one of my biggest regrets ever ever ever but I'm not sure if I have much choice.....
