Hertfordshire Lanes?????

Couple in Ashridge we did one winter Feb years ago. A couple other ones and the ostrich farm (not driven that one myself)

Not a lot interesting close to Tring. The ones between wigginton and Tring and between Wigginton and Berkhampstead are all TROd. I seem to remember exploring the one round ashridge a while ago and they were all ballasted or metalled. The one in Hastoe is seasonally TROd.

Moving further out, the one towards Chesham that Jia mentioned next to the Ostrich farm is good. The Ostriches come over and see what you're doing. A bit tight but I got the 109 down it. There are a couple of 'unsutable for motor vehicles' near there too, and there are a couple of BOATS off the A41 between Berkhampstead and Hemel IIRC.

I've got them marked up on the OS maps. I can bring them to the next pub meet if you want.

Would be interested but don't know how long until my RRC is up and running

Pretty slippy along that lane and the range masters on the 110 are past their best. Got it out after a bit of toing and frying, all part of the fun.........

yeah I was, there was 3 of us driving it, what motor were you up there in? or did you only go up on the Saturday?

Never made it up couldn't do the Sunday and Sat only got a txt around 9am for laying out I had things on so never went up in the end to help

Anyone local got any Disco or Defender roof bars for sale???

Right before I put on E----bay or post up for sale to general people. Anyone of us locals interested in a 6mm defender winch bumper I have one I need rid of. Its been repaired by somone else before me (I havent ever used it) and I'd probably cut the ends off and make it a tubular one if I was to ever keep it. If its any use to anyone I'm open to offers.

Nothing I think Spyderman may have a set of 750 R16 xcls but theyre not really road biased poor in the wet.

I have a few knackared tyres on old rims to junk good to put a project on while building it up nowt legal unfortunatly.

Why not use an angle grinder and vice?

Want to cut angles in tube. If it was box or flat no problem.. It will be viable so want it to be good.

Fair enough, no I don't have one. But if you go to a metal place they will cut it for you, for a drink maybe?

And the failure list from todays MOT goes...............Panhard rod bushes, radius arm bushes, track rod end, steering damper bush, handbreak and fog light. Well thats the weekend sorted!!
