Would like to take you up on your offer of help for tea.... Jai is kinda tied up and Kai needs to get the gearbox back into the disco. Unfortunately I am in as much pain as I was before the surgery and can't help him lift it. Would yoube able to spare me an hour or two sometime over the next few days? Once it is mated up then Kai can do the rest without a problem but he is too small to lift it on his own. We have it attached to an engine hoist at the moment.
 
Chris I may be able to offer you some help on weds but it depends when my new pc arrives from Dell. I managed to get one virtually half price on their outlet site because it has a scratch! :D
 
sorry Chris I had to bail other day, been waiting in for my press and some other bits to arrive,

spent all day with the grinder and welder and it looks like a I may have sussed out my Rangie front axle on the offroader well enough to bolt it on anyway shock mounts may need a tweek but the propshaft, starter eng mount clearance issues are well on their way to be sorted and the castor angle has now been done although it cost an inch or so of ground clearance!

Ryder think I'm screwed for the next couple of days but if I find 5 mins I'll pop over. Could do with 2 adults ideally to reattach it to the engine.

OK Jai.... If I am anywhere near fit enough then I will crawl under with you. We have the slave cylinder clips that you spoke about.... bought two just in case we break one!
 
cool the push rod can be put in with a small amount of copper grease and the clip goes over the pin sandwiching it against the fork and clips in with the two tags into the clutch fork.

No problem mate I will look at the work rota to see what I am working.
 
Looking for two shotgun seats for tomorrow.... if anyone has spare seatsthen Kai and I would very much like to tag along.... same vehicle or separate vehicles, doesn't matter.... ta muchly!
