Did ya fink about jacking it up and sticking a baking tray under each wheel?? Would have slid straight back out no problem.. :p :p

I know that yer twollop! But we was in essex... they don't use baking trays they use microwaves!

Besides if I wanted something ter slide straight back out I would have shouted you for family planning advice!:D:D

Park the Disco at the end, jack it up, take them off and roll the tyres down the lane.:D

LOL.
Ryder, thanks for the email and photo's. I'll keep an eye on the thread and look forward to tagging along sometime.

When i get stuck I'll be giving you guys a call.

Cheers
Nick.

Was thinking more of a P/R reg Ford Mundano TD estate. Tis about all I can afford..

True luckily I can't afford a passat either and work picked up the bill I don't know how any person (non company) can honestly afford a newish vehicle as these "improvements" just keep fecking up. There is going to be a BIG market for non electronic, non fancy, non anything likley to go wrong and cost s fortune to repair Very soon.

Does anyone know of a photo sharing site that we can estabolish an account for all the regulars to use... but we can password protect? Maybe we could pass the password out to our mates on here and that way still link to photos without actually posting them?

Just a thought

I think Nelly won the the highest fuel bill for furthest distance travelled as soo many motors turned up from everywhere to get to the recovery. The one in the quarry was Hertford so not too bad only a few of us locals

Ryder i use Photobucket...

You have a default album, which you can leave blank, then u creat sub folders that you can password protect.. I use it and it's great

I do remember Glenn saying No its soft you'll sink walked it seemed pretty good to us in we goes hooked up and extracted then we did the second one and did't hook up Phil he seemed dissapointed I still have some of the mud attached to the rims I had on way back then.

If its way up there in east anglia it could be a hefty fuel bill!:D

manningtree (North East Essex border with Suffolk).
East Herts is manageable within an hour(ish).
I've found a few decent lanes in Suffolk but all very spread apart.
I've been out once with the guys form the Essex thread and the west Essex lanes seemed to be back to back:D and meeting a few of them at the next Suffolk Land Rover club, driving day (saturday week).

Enjoy my friend... I am assuming the lanes up there are good but I , for one, have never tried them...

As always InternationaL Rescue is ready to jump into the...err... fore... but thats a hell of a trek from us!

The essex lanes are great... and usually trouble free!
