Here to say Hi!

Hi all,

Just dropping a quick message to say hi - I've been a Landy owner for over 17 years, currently on my third, a Defender 90 named Joey by it's previous owner. Purchased in rough condition and still not looking much better, it is at least now reliable, even though pretty much all of it is worn out and or broken.

The main things it does nowadays is 4x4 Response and marshalling work - it's made stealth appearances in both LRO and LRM magazines (page 52 of Dec 21's LRM most recently - crossing Morecambe Bay).

I hope to contribute occasionally, nice to meet you all.

In the arena at Peterborough 2020, while helping Russ Brown with the arena trial



4x4 Response stuff Jan 2021


Getting muddy at our (old) 4x4 Response training ground (very near Solihull), think this was after rescuing one of my colleagues!



Broke it whilst trialling...



This was the culprit! (Got it home gently in difflock after removing the front prop and drive flanges)



And on Morecambe Bay with many of my 4x4 Response colleagues



Life situation means much of my Landy stuff is in storage, so I'm often not been sure of what spares are where... So my most recent Landy job has been to make a list of the bits I've got (duplicate stub axles, clutch stuff - grrr!
