Hello fellow subs, I've gained so much knowledge from this forum, and others, but I never thought I would be here asking for help, but here I am.
For starters, my 04 D2 started missing, my scanner said misfire at #6 cyl, it turned out to be a bad plug wire, so I went ahead and changed the coils, plug wires, and injectors, since I it was all taken apart. Then it would crank, but no start. The scanner read "open relay", so I changed the relay, still no start. At the Schrader valve, the fuel pressure was really low, I changed the fuel pump $, no start. Then the dreadful CPS, no start. The fuel pressure was much stronger, but nothing to brag about. I do have a spark, I reset the Inertia switch and it seemed to want to start, but nothing!....Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there and welcome
I think before you blindly replace more parts, you diagnose the broken one! It's the battery good and fully charged?
The battery is kept fully charged, its one year old. I took my time doing this, the only thing that may have gone was when I removed the fuel pump relay and cranked the engine to relieve the pressure in the fuel rail? Everything is back exactly the way it was, I'm thinking it's an electrical issue?, my nemesis.

What was the issue?
I believe it was the original CPS, which I swapped out with a new one, but I'm thinking the engine had to be fired up to get functioning, the fuel pump also. I went and bought some starting fluid and sprayed the intake, it started for a couple seconds, I then reinserted the original fuel pump relay. I had bought a new one and even swapped it with the windshield wiper relay, and she still would not start. Now she runs like new. Pure luck, I guess.
