now then,as youll realize from this you will see i dont know too much about mechanics,i recently took my disco for a 24000 mile service,ive had the car since back end of september and it hasnt had a service(documented anyway)since 2002 @95000 miles,the specialist i took it to did a great job but the bill turned from 315 quid to 432 quid as it needed a few missing items etc,anyway he gave me a list of what needs doing to it,i know what track rod ends are and a few other things and i know some people have different names for different parts so heres what i aint too sure about

REAR AXLE SUSPENSION JOINT
REAR SUSPENSION ARM BUSHES (are these the shocker bushes ?)
DRAG LINK STNG JOINT(is this the joint opposite drop arm,nearest wheel?)

and my rear fogs dont work,the switch doesnt initiate when pressed???

guessing at a frame ball joint.
REAR SUSPENSION ARM BUSHES
the trailing arms that go from chassis to axle, one either side. need to ascertain if he means chassis end bushes or axle end bushes. or just change the lot.
DRAG LINK STNG JOINT
the rod that goes from the steering box to the n/s wheel. again, need to find out which end he wants changing. (rod behind axle is track rod)

fog light switch- are you pressing it while the headlights are on? and check fog lights themselves as well in case the lamp on the switch is buggered.

ignition on as well?
think heated rear window switch may be same type, swap them round an see what wont work. failing that its cabling or the mfu. (multi function unit)
should've asked first, but the fuse is ok innit?

ignition on yeah,ill try swapping the switches round and see what happens,thanks again,oh the fuses are ok...
