Hiya, newbie, could prolly trawl thru 1,001 threads to find sumthin like an answer, but thought I'd be cheeky & ask a direct question in here.
I have a 110 CSW V8, 4 speed, SU carb'd 1982/3 money-hole. It's decided to not start again and so am finally deciding on throwin some more money at it again and going for either ....
1 bolt in elec ignition + new coil
2 brand new distributor with the leccy stuff in it, so new vacuum stuff + new coil
3 new condenser, new points, new wire to the coil, coil, plugs, rotor arm etc, pray it gets started and not leave me stranded somewhere, then repeat
What's the bullet-proof most cost effective way of gettin this sorted please?
As you can probably tell I've been keeping the wagon going with very little mechanical aptitude or technical prowess, am not worthy lol
help!
thanks
