Help! warning light flashing not in manual!

Orange light (far rhs of dash area) shown in dash picture in manual but no explanation what it is! It looks like a side view of a button (mushroom-ish) with a drip underneath-help!
(53 plate defender 90)

Sounds like the water trap in your fuel filter warning, sedimenter?

undo switch off filter bottom and drain water out .allthough its usually switch fault in which case disconnect and tie out of way

^^^^^ What he said. The fuel filter is on the chassis just in front of the off-side rear wheel. At the bottom of the filter is a drain plug (plastic knurled knob with a pair of wires.) Dis-connect the wires at the plug a few inches away from the filter (or the wires might snap off like mine did) then unscrew the drain plug and clean out the crap trapped in it. If this doesn't cure the problem just leave the wires off until you get a new sensor, they only cost a couple of quid.
