Series 3 Help to ID part.

Hi All, I need a hand id'ing this part which is strapped on to the bottom of the air intake elbow just before the carb. Hopefully the pic uploads ok, the part has the flat head screwdriver touching the right hand end of it in the pic.

Afternoon Pete, it's a flame trap assembly ERC2042, seems to have now been superceded by ERC2042L:

Hey Ash ajb403, thanks for that, seems mine is hanging there doing nothing... Looks like the 'live' one on my 2.6 is the crankcase breather version like on the link below, although not 100% sure, more research needed! thanks again, good man.
