HELP!! Stuck on a mountain is Spain

Put that stick down and pick up the other end....I meant probably right about the Mitsu.:)

I know you are right about the codes etc which is exactly why Im thinking of changing every part...Becm..ECU..drivers door handle ignition lock if need be and anything else to get it running tomorrow.

I can have somebody come up here with diagnostics if need but cant see why it wont run right off.....these parts are coming from a running car so why will they not work being put on mine?
Is there a memory that will be lost when they are unplugged or what?

Have it your way, you obviously have much more experience than anyone on here on P38 electronics
Door lock is not relevant, your existing blade fits it, if you also change the engine ECU and it's petrol all the trims will be wrong.

I do listen but it seems some people arent quite grasping what the problem is. IF it needs a resync I have a syncmate that will do that...

Just leave it mate Ive got more than enough hassle with this thing without your comments. Im sure somebody will be along with a bit of positive input rather than just "That wont work Blah blah"

Im sure that right ans its why I came here for advice.....The real problem is that im getting info from various places...all from people who know the cars...and get different answers from everyone.:confused:

HI, IVE SENT YOU A P.M. BUT TRAVELLING TO-NITE SO RING AFTER 10AM TOMMORROW ,, PLEASE DONT HAVE A GO AT THE LADS I.E. DATATEK AS HE IS ONE OF THE BEST ON HERE WITH COMPREHENSIVE KNOWLEDGE .. ALONG WITH A LOT OF OTHERS , SAINTY ,WAMMERS ETC ETC ETC AND RICK THE PICK IS THE " GURU ON ALL THINGS B.E.C.M.s . " believe me, any way its probably your at crossed wires with either explaing your problem or not understanding what tere trying to say to help you , but nonetheless i will do my best , so before you ring me plese have info ready for me save yout telephone costs ,,, questions are what year ? left or right hand drive ? what engine ???? have you checked your handbook for eka code ? 4 digit !!!!! also do you know what rf reciever u have ???? green or blue dot on box ??????? ok matey as much info as u can give makes it easy for me to sort ,, its possible something really simple also i will need your e-mail address so i can send u re-sync programme ,, right im off to bed now as just arrived at my caravan and need sleep ,chhers speak tomorrow regards mozz,

Thanks. Will call you tomorrow with all the info. i really wasnt having a go at anyone and Im sorry if I came across that way. No excuses but it was a stressful day and I wasnt at my best. apologies to all.

So....spent another few hours messing with this car today...nothing seemed to work.
I then decided to cut the fob in half and see if there was anything obvious in there. There was a poor joint on the battery bridge. Sorted that out and the remote is alive and so is the car,
Thanks for the advice everybody and a big thanks to Mozz.!!

I did say check the contact in the FOB early on.

Yes you did and I did that but the part that was causing the problem wasnt visible without cutting open the fob.. The failure point is exactly where is indicated.....nothing to see when fob is intact.
Will have a go at the other fob in case its the same problem.
