Bought a Freelander facelift Auto TD4 HSE two days ago and the sodding to thing blew up yesterday (22/08/15) just past Antwerp. I think the turbo overran, couldn't kill the engine, loads of smoke, police, fire brigade, the works and the A2 near Tielt was blocked for half an hour.
Main thing is though, missus and kids OK.
Upshot of all this is I need recovery back to UK. MasterCard have said if I accept a repair I'll be liable but if I can get thing back to seller then they'll claim back the payment.
If anyone can help please send me a message and I'll get back to you.
The car is in Heerentals BE-2200, and I need to get back to Essex.
Please bare in mind the car cost 4k so I can't spend a fortune getting it back.
Here's hoping.
