HELP PLEASE 
I am no mechanic so took the 110 to a garage to have the pinion seal replaced on a salisbury axle & found the original flange is scored.
I provided the new kit but for some reason the diff wont turn with the new flange on but does with the old one - the new superceded ones do look different. Tried removing the mud cover & they do look different see pics below.
Has anyone come across this before & have any wisdom to share? Can't find anything on threads that matches this.
