Disco 2 Help removing ace valve block!!

I cant seem to get the pipes going to the ace valve block off. Following rave manual it seems to be straight forward enough but im pulling and they are not moving. Yes i removed the two bracket and the weak looking clips underneath

They corrode, steel and aluminium don't mix..... Most people just cut them off and then clean out the mess. Best to replace with hydraulic couplings and then get hoses made up to replace the steel pipes, either completely or as much as you want.

I had to cut pipes remove the block then force the stubs out before getting it machined for hoses

sorry forgot to update this. at the end i used a prybar and they came right out. there was no corrosion but they were really stuck!
