help!! rachet noise on brake pedal

Hello every1. i have a 2000 vogue and i think i have a brake problem. nearly everytime i brake the pedal ratchets. the noise is pretty loud and annoying. I dont know if this is normal?? or is it something serious. rally need help with yhis asap

Why have you gotta rat on yer pedal? An I'm not surprised it ****s if ya put yer foot on it.
 
brake modulator failure-search clicking pedal if it does it all the time
 
are there any signs to look out for on the unit? looks ok and no leeks. being a 2000 i thought my range would have the newer bosch unit buts its the wabco one. bummer.
 
yeah ok,, gonna bleed the brakes tommorow then if that dont fix it i will go to plan B! got quoted 175 quid for a 2nd hand modulator. **** take! the place that does the steel washer kit has sold out

Have you tried the American or Australian sites for washer suppliers? Postage might be a bit but . . . . .£175!!
 
yeah tried the aussie place but sold out. seen one on ebay so miight get that and by 2 sets of washers.might make a bit of profit then lol.

rover renovations and british Atlantic in the usa one of them stocked Russell's kits, did you contact him directly?
